We we are approximatley six months into the remodel, and hopefully back in the hose within another couple months. Sheetrock, last electrical, beams in the kitchen, flooring, tile, trim, cabinets, counter tops, lighting, painting inside and out, asphalt driveway, and stone work has to be done...and we are getting to the end of the budget. We may have to wait on stone work and asphalt to the new carport. We added a lot of things we were not going to add as we were remodelin such as going ahead and finishing the upstairs, the side porch, and the garage part. We had talked about waiting on all of those parts, but I am so glad now that we did not.

We are Pregnant!

We found out the day before our three year anniversary that we are pregnant! I took a home test, but then we went to the doctor to confirm it. We started telling everyone that day. We told my parents and J.D. and Stephanie at Mom and Dad's house, and the next day we told Bryon's family. We first drove to see Mrs. Twilla and tell her, then to Mr. Ronnie's store to tell him, and then we went to Brandon and Taylor's house. We waited at Brandon and Taylor's for a long time for Brandon to get home from work, but then it kinda came out right before he got there. We were all trying to keep a straight face when he walked in, but it came out kinda quick. We have our next doctor's appointment on the 22nd. I am going to be going to Women's Care in Lexington, next to Lexington Medical. We are only just beginning this journey! It is going to be a fun one :0) What a blessing God has given us! I am already starting to feel kinda nautious and bloated....I don't know if that part will be fun or not...:0)

Remodeling...

There has been so much that has gone on since February 2010! We moved out of the house shortly after our return from Australia, and moved into the Lake House. We have been here now six months. The house is moving along, but not fast enough for us! We are getting close to the point of sheetrock and I have been told it is downhill from there, but also kinda slow. We have picked out cabinets, granite, and bathroom toilets, tubs, and faucets at this point. Now we have to pick out tile, lighting, and furniture. We have foud some tile we like, but need to get the measurements so we know how much to buy. Here are some photos that will show more construction from the last point I left off. . . .
