Christmas Lights

We have gotten most of the lights up outside. I am still working on the two small trees out front.

More of the ceiling

OK so here we go with a light sanding before we paint. I have primed the large section, but have seen that there are some areas that are a little rough. Bryon started the sanding, and I am working on the caulking...I bought Bryon this suit and it may be a bit too small . . . . :0)

Braydon's Baptism

The whole gang...minus Mrs. Twilla and Mr. Ronnie..

Cutest Picture Ever!
We ate Hudson's Bar-B-Que for lunch. Bryon and I left the church service early to go over and get it for everyone. We had mac n cheese, green beans, rolls, fried chicken, bar-b-que,rice and hash, potato salad, slaw, and two types of cakes.

This is present I made for Braydon...the first quilt block for a memory scrapbook quilt!

The Quote on the card:
As the years pass by, you will change and grow
and a quilt is a way to chart it as you go!

Year after year as events come and pass, we’ll be able to look back and say “Braydon you grew up so fast!”

Each block will be sewn together with love and a grin
as a keepsake for you to keep and remember back when.

Love, Aunt Jessica and Uncle Bryon

Not quite finished...

This is the quilt I made for Emma Johnson Story. This is the neice of Stephanie, and the future daughter of Shanna Wooten. I did not quite finish the quilt, but have been working on it since the baby shower. It is a knockout if I do say so myself! When the quilt is complete, and I want to keep it myself I know my job is done!

OK...

It is Coffered .....A Coffered Ceiling! I knew it!

Wood Boxes on the Ceiling

We have started the dining room ceiling. It has old white tiles on it, and we took them down. Under there we saw the date June 1955 that Papa Joe had written on there when he was putting the ceiling up. Guess it made it for fifty four years! Would have probably made it another fifty four years if we left it...Papa did things the right way :0)
This is stage one...we have already moved to stage two which unfortunately I do not have pictures of yet....TBA>>>

P.S. I had found the name of this ceiling on-line and have not been able to find it again since....I will keep looking. It has a specific name...
