Mom, Dad, Bryon and I went up to Cherokee a few weekends ago. We went up on Friday, went by the auction, and then headed into Cherokee for something to eat. We ended up going to the Stockyard Steakhouse across the road from Harrah's Casino. We then headed to the Dairy Queen, and then to the camper. The next day we went to Pigeon Forge and took lots of pictures along the way. When we got there, we ate at Calhouns Bar-B-Que. Dad really wanted to go there, and so I took his picture in front of the place, as well as eating there. ;0) We went to a bunch of stores, and bought some cool things. Some of the top purchases of the day included cowboy boots, fudge, and a couple of antique items. We headed back over the mountain to Cherokee, but not before eating a really good pizza from Dominoes. It was made just right with little sauce, and thin crust! We began taking the booth table out of the camper for Gradma when we got back, to open up some space. It did make it look bigger, but then the addition of recliners in the space will probably close the hole back up. On Sunday, Bryon made a really good breakfast with pancakes, grits, eggs, and bacon. He walked up to the entrance of the campsite and bought these things at the general store while everyone else was sleeping, or getting ready. We ate, straightened up, and headed home. On the way back we stopped at Jesse Israels greenhouse in Ashville, Bloomfields pottery, and an antique store. We had a lot of fun!

Carolina Alumni Baseball

Bryon had his third annual USC alumni baseball game against the Columbia Blowfish on July 3rd. They had a firework show afterward, and they are always really good! They lost the game against the blowfish, but won against the Florence Red Wolves the following Sunday. Here are some pictures from those two games.
